Okay, okay, so it's been a while. So, ya know I closed the Grove City shop. Well, it's not retirement time for Linda yet. Got a lovely offer to help out a few days a week at a new yarn shop in Powell, OH called The Tangled Tale. All natural fibers, lots of enthusiasm, an intense interest in Weavettes (by Buxton Brooks)--Google 'em. (Hey, it's 12:14 AM-and I'm out of practice. Ya get what ya pay for-he-he-he!)
Why am I back? Well, I've been thinking about it for quite a while, but had so much to say, and as usual I managed to just ignore the whole thing...til today. Got an email from my lovely daughter and she told me about this incredible site called www.spoonflower.com where you can get custom fabric printed on demand, like they do books! Is that incredible or what? Why are you still here reading this when you should be checking out this web site and signing up for the waiting list for the beta version? As untechie as I am, I did it, and you can, too! You know you always wanted to do this, right? (If you said no, I'd consider going to Confession this Saturday.)
Anyway, I'll come back soon and post a couple of pictures of Spring in Ohio, give you some idea of what Market was like last week, and show you all the quilt pieces I've been working on. Don't be intimidated..nowhere did you see the word "finished".
later.
